Francisco de Goya knew better than anyone how to portray the fashions of his time. Thanks to his paintings, we have a great deal of information about the local figures from 19th-century Madrid: the majos and majas. How did they dress? What did they do? In this activity, we’ll analyse 19th century garments and objects from the Museo del Traje collection.
