Piece made up of five fragments. Pink and beige stripes in taffeta and French faille on the lines where the colour changes. Flower posies in polychromatic silks.
Imitation of the French silks from Lyon, in Spain they became fashionable from the mid-18th century, coinciding with the reign of Louis XVI. They were fabrics used for women’s garments and were typically decorated with vertical lines of figured flowers.
