Ca. 1700 - 1720
Fabric on a golden background that traces an irregular pattern of rhombus with curved lines, the spaces framed within the pattern are decorated with metallic bullion threads on a silk core, and over this, small bouquets of flowers in multicoloured floss silk and chenille. At the corners of the pattern, flowers in raised metallic thread and little chenille blossoms.
This fabric type, rich and highly decorated, became fashionable at the start of the 18th century. It belonged to the Viñas Collection.
