Deep red damask silk with a satin weave. Decorated with a field strewn with palmettes and carnations in deep red silk. On three of its four sides it is decorated with a silk trim with satin weave, over which a raised embroidery decoration is applied, with a linen filling covered with flat metallic plates and on these metallic bullion thread with a silk core tracing swirls that end in floral motifs framing the golden chain stitch swirls and the bullion braid.

This type of damask, decorated with small carnations and palmettes strewn over the background, without a mesh, position the fragment in the last third of the 17th century.
