The Museo is privileged to have a splendid collection of fabrics in the pieces already manufactured from the 16th century to the present day. In addition to these pieces, it also houses textile fragments of enormous value, among which we should highlight a coptic strip or a Hispanic-Muslim fragment, as well as rich 16th century examples. The Museo also has fragments that were contemporaries of the garments already created, that provide us with information about technical aspects of attire from the same period.
The collection comprising 9000 pieces is completed with lace, embroidery and passementerie that cover all style types, both erudite and popular.
