The Museum preserves few significant pieces from the 16th and 17th centuries, but those it does house are emblematic, of which a female doublet from the end of the 16th century particularly stands out.
The 18th century collection includes excellent examples of male suits, such as the rich and extensive selection of jackets and waistcoats, as well as the collection of female casaquins and authentic garments of majismo.
There is a more limited representation of 19th century objects, but the different styles of the period are represented. The outstanding list of fashion designers is worthy of special attention, which in the future will make the systematization of a catalogue showing the important activity that took place possible.
The total number of garments the Museum owns from this period is 2500.
