The collection is made up of around 19,000 objects which can be classified in two large groups: pre-industrial objects from rural areas, including furniture, and an interesting collection of industrially manufactured items associated with urban areas. Particularly noteworthy in this section is the collection of popular ceramics. The Museo offers a clear view of the process of change and the differences between town and country in the 20th century, which should now be continued by systematic collection of modern day domestic objects.
