The Sorolla Museum's collection is very diverse. As a consequence of being a house museum, as well as paintings, it also conserves sculpture, furniture, ceramics, glass, textiles, and various objects that were part of the daily life of the painter and his family.

It also conserves an extensive documentary archive made up of photographs, letters, old periodicals, etc.

The museum mainly researches its own collections, Sorolla's life, and the museum building, its history, and its audience.
