Sorolla at your School

In conjunction with the Museo Sorolla’s closure from 1 October 2024 we have prepared an educational programme that will continue to inform the school community about the work of this great Valencian artist. Educators from the Fundación Museo Sorolla will be visiting schools to lead activities and workshops that look in depth at the painter’s life and work in both an entertaining and informative way.

“Sorolla at your School” is aimed at pre-school centres and Primary schools in the Region of Madrid. These activities take the Museo Sorolla outside the museum, introducing its extensive content and encouraging interest in art and culture in school pupils of these age groups.

Dates: 1 October 2024 to 20 June 2025.

Sessions: one to two classes per day.

Venue: in the school/educational centre.

Length of activity: between 60 and 90 minutes per session.
