How we work: Departments

area administrativa

Like most museums of a certain size, the National Museum of Roman Art is divided internally into four departments, each closely linked to one of the specific functions of this type of institution (documentation, conservation, research and outreach). In addition, we could consider the management and administration of the centre to represent a fifth department.

Although not included in a formal organisational chart, each of the museum departments is entrusted by the management to a museum curator. The Museum also has a staff of civil servants and permanent employees, in addition to the staff hired by external companies and temporary staff.
