Services

The Library of the National Museum of Roman Art's main purpose is to meet the informational needs of the Museum's staff and to support the research of its users.

The library offers the following services to the public:

  • Access to collections in the reading room
  • Bibliographic advice
  • Document photocopying. Copies are subject to current laws regarding intellectual property. The library reserves the right to decide the most appropriate means of making copies depending on the state of conservation of the document and accepts no liability for the use made of the copies.
  • Inter-library loan service with other institutions
  • Inter-library loans. The library can provide its users with access to the collections of other member libraries of the Museum Library Network (BIMUS). These inter-library loans exclude reference works, periodicals, old and rare books, and those whose state of conservation may be compromised by handling.
