Located in front of the College of San Gregorio, the Villena Palace is a noble mansion that preserves a magnificent Renaissance courtyard surrounded on three sides by two floors of arcades. The very generous-sized staircase retains both the original coffered ceiling as well as the stonework that is entirely carved, and the highlight is the splendid entrance arch.
It is the venue for temporary exhibitions, our assembly hall, library, collections storage and restoration and photography workshops. It also exhibits an 18th-century Neapolitan Nativity Scene made up of more than six hundred pieces, in an innovative layout created by the set designer Ignasi Cristiá.
