Documentary heritage

The Museum has a rich collection of historical documents, images and historical photographs dating from its origins in 1842 to the present day. These are essential for the knowledge of the history of the Museum and its collections. Currently undergoing archival description and digitisation, items from the archive can be copied on request or consulted in the library's reading room.
