For security reasons and to prevent damage to the collections, the maximum group size is 25 people.
We request that large luggage, bags, umbrellas, rucksacks etc are left in lockers.
Due to conservation of cultural proporty, access with pets, except assistance dogs, is PROHIBITED.
The rules regarding taking photographs inside the museum are divided into the following categories:
1. Photography by visitors
In order to preserve the cultural assets and out of consideration for other visitors, the taking of photographs inside the museum is only authorised when it is done with a mobile device or non-professional equipment, according to the following rules:
The Museo Nacional de Cerámica y Artes Suntuarias “González Martí” accepts no responsibility for any use you may make of reproductions of these photographs in violation of the Intellectual Property Act and/or any legal provisions.
2. Photo essays for distribution

4. Use of spaces for photo essays
Any photography inside the museum not covered by one of the previous three points shall be subject to rules governing use of spaces in museums and other cultural institutions under the Ministry of Culture and Sport (Order of the Ministry of the Presidency of 18 January 2000 [Official State Gazette of 26 January 2000], which establishes the rates for the services or activities subject to the fee for space hire in museums and other cultural institutions under the Ministry of Education and Culture). In any event, requests for space bookings shall require prior authorisation from the museum management and the Directorate-General for Fine Arts, under the Ministry of Culture and Sport. Generally, the use of spaces for photography or filming of a commercial nature – such as advertisements, commercial catalogues, fashion shows, trade shows or events where products are sold, etc. – is not authorised. All other photography requests for other reasons shall be considered space bookings and shall be subject to the aforementioned authorisations and the appropriate rules.
