Some of the museum’s rooms are available for hiring for events of a cultural nature only, depending on availability and the museum’s own programme of activities.

Possible uses of space: Filming and photo shoots, workshops, temporary exhibitions.

To hire a room in the museum, organizations should send a request to the (director/manager), Sr.Jaume Coll, with at least a months notice, with the following information:

If a room is available for a cultural event and the request is accepted by the museum management, they will contact the business about the cost of hiring the room, based on the current published rates agreed by legislation.

The Ministerio de Cultura (Ministry of Culture) has set rates for the hiring of rooms in museums and other institutions under its management. The cost of hire is dependent on surface area and the length of time requested. There are additional charges for filming, the need for extra security, private visit of the museum etc.
