The Quarterly item activity involves selecting an item from the Museum’s collections which is not generally on permanent display for public exhibition for three months, together with an information sheet.
The activity aims to publicise collections usually in storage, highlighting the richness and variety of the Museum’s collections, and to revalue the selected item, deepening our knowledge of it: creator, technique, background to its production, etc.
The information sheets created, which are available to the public for the three months that the activity lasts, form part of a series entitled “National Pottery Museum educational information sheets” (series 01), which may be downloaded from the Online resources section.
