• The response time for requests for group visits to the museum is 8 working days.
• We remind you that group visits have a maximum group size of 15 people (plus guide). The minimum group size is 8 people.
• We recommend that you book 15 days in advance to ensure the availability of dates and/or guides who can accompany you.

Booking a guided tour with a museum guide

CEATE's cultural volunteers offer guided tours of the museum's permanent collection, both to groups and individuals. Consult our timetables and conditions.

Which exhibition galleries will we visit?

Our guides will accompany you through the second, third and fourth floors of the museum +info/route (not including a visit to the temporary exhibitions and the area in the first floor dedicated to modern design from 1900 to 1939).

Opening hours

• Groups

Tuesday to Friday at 10 am, 11 am and 12 pm.

• Individuals

Thursdays, at 5.30 p.m. and Sundays, at 11.30 am.

How do I make my group booking?

- To make a reservation, please send an email to reservas.mnad@cultura.gob.es with the following information:

- Preferred day and time of visit

- Number of people attending

- Name and telephone number of the person responsible for the group

- Name of the group (e.g. association, cultural centre, school, etc.)

- Please let us know specifically if you would like to have a guide to the museum

We will confirm your booking within 8 working days.

Group visits with your own guide

If you don't need a guided tour from our volunteers, either because you already have a guide or you prefer to self-guide the visit with your group, please read the opening hours and conditions.

Opening hours

• Tuesday to Friday from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm (with 30-minute intervals between groups)
• Thursday afternoons at 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm.

• The maximum permitted group size is 15 people, plus guide.
• To book, you must send an email to reservas.mnad@cultura.gob.es with the following information:

- Number of participants

- Preferred day and time

- Name and contact telephone number of the person in charge of the group

- Name and contact telephone number of the guide (if any)

- Name of the group (e.g., cultural association, school, residence, etc.)

- Which collection(s) you wish to visit (Temporary/Permanent/All)

We will confirm your booking within 8 working days.
