One of the great challenges of the Museum, which is housed in a rather small historic building, is to keep its varied and extensive collections in good condition.
That is why collection stores are undoubtedly a central field of work and object of study for many. For this reason, the Master Plan already includes a programme of works to improve the Museum’s spatial distribution, infrastructure and equipment, and many projects are being added along these lines.
One of the most interesting projects for our website is the project aimed at dynamising the collections in our warehouses. With it, we intend to open channels of communication to bring civil society’s expectations into the Museum's renovation. Online and through social networks, we offer the public the opportunity to learn about collections that are usually outside the exhibition discourse, creating links with the community.
