Acquisitions

The museum's collection is growing thanks, among other things, to donations, bequests and, above all, purchases made by the State from private individuals, auction houses and antiques dealers.

These fill in some of the gaps in the Museum's collection, creating a comprehensive overview of decorative arts and design over time.

Unique pieces such as Medieval and Renaissance furniture, silver pieces, jewellery and watches are some of our recent acquisitions; you can find detailed information about them here.
