Mare Hibericum

Through Mare Hibericum the Museum explains the history of navigation from Phoenician times to the Modern Age, based on different sites that come to exemplify each of the historical stages. From the Phoenician era to the successive deposits of remains revealing wrecks from the Republican period of Rome, and the High Middle Ages. In this tour we study both, the objects that carried boats and the boats themselves, through sections on a 1: 1 scale of each boat of the time. There is also room to see the evolution of ports and maritime routes in the Mediterranean.
