Salto de línea Altamira the animated cave is an opportunity to get to know the Altamira cave during the Paleolithic. This virtual experience takes us to the same moment in which the famous Altamira bison were painted and, as if we were on tiptoe on the scene, we can witness that special moment.

This recreation is the result of scientific research on the cave of Altamira and has allowed us to reliably and realistically rebuild the space inhabited by the people who lived during "the times of Altamira". To make this return to our past a reality, we have combined the available archeological information with the most advanced technology through the use of laser scanning and photogrammetry. We invite you to enter this story, possible and probable, that will help us understand the past of the cave of Altamira.
