Accessibility

Physical accessibility

  • Access through the garden via a stair lift platform. Contact the security personnel at the main gate.
  • The Museum has a wheelchair loan service for visitors.
  • Specially adapted public toilets are located on the lower floor.
  • Access lift to the ground floor.
  • Due to the historical characteristics of the building that houses the Museum and the layout of its collections, some rooms are difficult to access. These can be viewed from their thresholds.

For security reasons and in accordance with the institution's Evacuation Plan, the Cerralbo Museum only admits a maximum of two people with dependent mobility, i.e., users of wheelchairs, walkers or similar devices, on its premises at any one time. If they are part of a group, they must be accompanied by a responsible person.

Auditive accessibility

  • Hearing loop in the ticket office, assembly hall and teaching classroom.
  • Audio induction loops and self-amplifiers for audio guides (check availability).
  • For events, the following can be ordered upon registration or booking: audio systems connected to personal hearing loops and portable self-amplifier equipment for the ballroom and temporary exhibition hall.

  • Planos táctiles del museo con la información en braille. Ubicados en el zaguán y taquilla.
  • Map's Voice. El museo cuenta con un código QR en los planos táctiles a través del cual se facilita información tanto en forma visual como locutada.
