Main Floor

Piso principal

The noble or main floor reserved for protocol is more lavishly and artistically decorated. A mirror of the financial and social position of its owners, the distribution reflects nineteenth century mentality where appearances were highly important and the best spaces were reserved for guests. In fact, it was only opened up for receptions, parties and dancing.

It features a distribution similar to that of the Mezzanine Floor with a series of rooms in a row plus, in this case, three spacious galleries around an indoor patio. This way, all the rooms form a common space with multiple connections, suitable for hosting a large number of guests and harmoniously distributing the art collections.

The apparent inalterability with the passing of time is the result of the efforts of a multidisciplinary team of professionals who worked to recover the original atmosphere.
