Miguel Báez Espuny was born in Gandía on 5 october 1930, member of one of the wants onubenses dynasties. After a successful career as a matador, took the alternative on 12 october 1950, in the Plaza de toros de Valencia, cutting ears and two four bobtailing at work godfather, Joaquín Rodríguez Cagancho and acting as a witness Julio Aparicio. Its confirmation in sales, on 17 may 1951, acting as a godfather Pepe Luis Vázquez and as a witness Antonio Welcome. In 2007 the Junta de andalucia awarded the medal of Andalusia and in 2010 receives the golden medal, awarded by the Provincial deputation of Huelva "as a representative of a dynasty of bullfighters onubenses who have been ambassadors of the province of Huelva worldwide".
