Museo Nacional de Escultura

This museum, located in Valladolid, preserves and disseminates the most original, representative and wide collection of Spanish sculpture. It is distinguished by a rich collection of Spanish devotional sculpture from the 13th to the 18th centuries, to which has been added since 2011 the collection of copies from the now non-operational National Museum of Artistic Reproductions.

Its main headquarter is the Colegio de San Gregorio, a jewel of 15th century peninsular architecture, to which are added two nearby buildings, the Palacio de Villena and the Casa del Sol. The harmony between the architectural container and the artistic content gives this museum a unique personality.
