Museo Nacional de Artes Decorativas

The National Museum of Decorative Arts is built on the notion of design. Everything has been designed and is designed: objects, houses, cities, identity and communication. Design understood in a broad sense, such as the conscious and planned creation of our environment.

The collection consists of objects that have been part of daily life from the 14th century to the present day, interpreted on the basis of the ideas, values and attitudes they embody.

The museum’s activities are aligned with its themes and objectives, with special emphasis on citizen participation and social responsibility.
