This return to her home city force her to confront her identity.

Lucía approaches her grandmother Edilia looking for answers, but she only finds silence. Edilia's silence is long, deep-rooted, dark and painful. When Lucía understands that Edilia will never give her the answers she seeks, she decides to look at that silence, listen to it closely, trying to understand it. Together, they explore the limits of words and images in that silence that unites them.

This Body of Mine tells the story of the friendship between Rafael and Carolina. Rafael, a trans man in the process of acceptance and reconciliation with his own body, and Carolina, his unconditional companion, undertake together the search for their square meter of peace in the world.
