FICTION
In the present day, Aurora requests permission from a mayor to open a Francoist grave found in his town. In 1939, a Francoist lieutenant questions Esperanza, an art curator responsible for the works of the Prado Museum during the war, about a painting that is missing: The Invasion of the Barbarians. 80 years later, Aurora strugles to open the grave with the remains of her grandmother, Esperanza.
