Raquel Lagartos. Oviedo, 1982

Illustrator and comic artist who has worked on several projects for the publishers Alrevés and Anaya. Her works have been shown at the Sitges Film Festival, Bilbao’s Fantasy Film Festival, Gijón’s Semana Grande and the Institute of Contemporary Art and Culture of Aragon. She is one of the female illustrators selected for an artists’ residency in Angouleme, France, as part of the European international cooperation project Wom@rts.

A historian by training, now a professional comic script writer. He has published two graphic novels with Raquel Lagartos: Mary Shelley: la muerte del monstruo, his first work as a script writer, and La hierba del estío, both in Diábolo Ediciones. They have also worked together in the collective work Frankenstein resuturado, published by Ediciones Alrevés, and in the tale Al final del paraíso.
